"Is ANYBODY there?"

Attempting to get information about Sunderland City Centre (basic info like a Map!) & the surrounding coastal area prior to visiting. There are attractive pictures on the website, but if there's any useful I formation I can't find it. Attempted to phone Tourist Information in Sunderland (Fawcett Street). Apparently the number was 'Incorrect'. Checked the number, tried again, it was still 'Incorrect'. This seems to be a hopeless non-existent service..
