"Railway club sale"

By law If members of a club want to call a meeting they are well within their rights. The club and grounds were bought by the council for future development, this could be anytime in the next four years, before anything is done about it. Why are the commitee keeping it to themselves, without informing members about what is happening, for example how much the club was sold for. Members are starting to put 2 and2 together . If I was a member I would consult a solicitor, to find out my rights.
